
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
- Any owner of a registered/accredited operating public health training institution is
eligible for membership to APHTIT. - Unless other evidence is obtained or the circumstance compels otherwise, the operation of
health college shall be proved by registration and or Accreditation documents together
with a record of that college’s taking part in the most recent formal examination organized
by the relevant body (like the NACTVET/Ministry of Health etc) in which all
registered/accredited public health training institutions of that kind are supposed to take
REGISTER OF MEMBERS
There shall be kept and maintained a register of all members which shall contain the
the following information: –
- The full name and address of each member. Such address shall include physical,
postal, telephone, e-mail, website, fax, and or any other means through which the
member can be reached for any communication with the Association. - Names of colleges that the member represents and their registration/accreditation
numbers and dates - The date of admission to membership of each member.
- The date on which membership ceased and the reasons thereof.
- Any other information proposed by EC and approved by AGM
- It shall be the duty of every member to supply to the Association
information required to be included in the register related to him which he has not yet
supplied and from time to time, particularly where there are changes from ant piece of
information already supplied to the Association - New/other members shall supply to the SG the information under prescribed
Article of APHTIT Constitution, - It shall always be lawful for the EC to require a member already on the register
to supply such information (and even evidence) and to propose the termination of his
membership to the GM for failure to supply the same.
